When I started yoga, I was always stressed during the practice because I felt that I could not follow the sequences of yoga poses. The sequence was too fast, my body was too tense, my mind got frustrated, I injured myself a couple of times because I was doing some positions wrong without any correction. Basically, I felt that the whole approach was not good for me. If this sounds familiar to you, you will love practising with me!
Gradually I developed a personal practice and I also followed the teachings of an Indian Guru that showed me the path to Yoga, not only as a physical practice but more as a practice to calm the mind following the traditional teachings of Hatha Yoga.
Flexibility and being able to perform complicated poses are not the aim of my practice. The aim is more to find peace and calmness through the union of the breath, the movement of our body and the intention of our mind.
