Lisa is a certified Intermediate Level 3 Iyengar yoga teacher.
She became interested in yoga after taking a career break from being a professional dancer and choreographer, 20 years ago.
Lisa has found that the classical guru traditions of Iyengar yoga provide a clear structure to a deep and long term practice.
She still is learning from the same genius teachers that she encountered when she started, who learned directly from B.K.S. Iyengar.
It is suitable for EVERYONE!
It is an invaluable method to access strength, removing ego, heal the body and ultimately settle and stabilise the mind.
We start with the body, like all other methods.
Then we go deeper.
The technique involves alignment and typically requires some props.
This is a deeper, slower practise, there is also flow, holding, deepening and experimenting within poseS depending on the class.
No class is the same!
You will be encouraged to connect to your body, consciously. This in turn gives space to let the mind follow.
Knowing yourself requires time, investigating where you are right now.
