Power Vinyasa is a form of yoga based on the methodology of Baptiste Yoga.

It is designed to stimulate your body and mind while improving flexibility and overall strength. In this class, you can expect high energy, playfulness, and inspiration to get your body moving and clear your mind.

Beginners, intermediate and advanced practitioners will receive direction from me to create poses that work for your individual level.

This allows all practitioners to be challenged and find their own personal edge together in the same class.

Typically Power Yoga is taught in a heated class, so turn up that heater to increase blood flow, allowing you to go even deeper into your practice giving you a greater range of flexibility while burning some serious calories and detoxifying the body!

Hatha Yoga

Learning to connect with your body through asanas is an essential part of the process, but, it is only the beginning. For example, one of the most powerful aspects of yoga is breathing, which brings energy back to the body, while removing tension and stress.

Most importantly, it addresses many of the specific challenges that we face as we age including sore joints, stress, muscle tension, flexibility and balance.

Let’s start :))

Anastasia PagliacciGreetings from Prague! My name is Anastasia. I am A certified Yoga alliance teacher of Hatha yoga as well as Face yoga teacher. I used to teach Hatha yoga, Vinyasa, Restorative flow with yoga therapy elements, Yin yoga etc. I am learning to live in peace with myself, people around me and the environment. I chose teaching yoga as I believe it is a good instrument to find harmony with yourself and afterwards with surroundings. My goal is to show to the students the possibility to reconnect your body with your mind and get the understanding that all the answers are inside, not outside. I am convinced that the deepening of physical practice and finding the middle way in everyday life is the way to be happy. So my purpose of teaching yoga is to make this world a better place because I believe there are no bad people, but they're unhappy people and yoga is a good instrument to improve it. My classes are concentrated on bringing the focus of attention to ourself, starting noticing our physical and mental feelings. I would be glad to see in my virtual classes. Namaste.

The class usually starts with a moment in silence and/or some breathwork.

It then moves into some fluid movement, limbering up the whole body.

Often we practice a few rounds of simple sun salutations to further warm up the joints and muscles.

The class then progresses to some basic standing poses with commentaries on correct functional alignment.

As we approach the end of the class we practice various forms of seated poses.

The whole class winds down with a relaxing savasana allowing you to integrate the benefits of the practice.

Rooted In Gratitude – Muladhara Yoga For Beginners

If you’re unsure about being qualified to begin practice yoga,  I want to let you know that yoga will adapt to your current abilities and take it from there.

We all have met people who simply ooze serenity. They smile and the world around them smiles back. Their calmness is contagious and fabulously good for the soul. When the energy of the root chakra is flowing well, you feel grounded yet free as a bird, and you’ll be one of these contagiously happy people.

During this class, we’ll prod the process of balancing the Muladhara chakra (root chakra) through mantra meditation, pranayama, and gentle yoga asanas.

For your comfort, you can bring a pillow, a blanket and a yoga mat. Please make sure to keep your phone off or in silent mode during class, and try to prevent any other distractions.

If you have any questions, please contact me and we can have a conversation to get to know each other before you join. Reach me on social media or email me at aikoyogareiki@gmail.com

*If you experience any pain or discomfort you agree to listen to your body, adjust the posture or stop altogether. By booking this class you affirm that you alone are responsible to decide whether to practice yoga or not. Aiko and Foogin will not accept liability for any injury or otherwise from your participation in this class.

AikoI was born in south Japan, and healing arts have been a part of my life ever since. My mom was actually teaching yoga while being pregnant with me. During a three-year stay in India in my twenties, I delved deeper into the roots of yoga. My classes are about engaging in a loving conversation with your body, listening to what it has to tell you and responding to it with acceptance. Wisdom is to know that knowledge will forever unfold if we allow it to, meaning that we are all students forever. Thus, while we have fundamental concepts and directions in place, our journey is the never-ending goal. And just by being yourself, you will be my teacher as well. The sessions will start with pranayama to open up to the experience and be able to hold it. When ready, we slide into a gentle flow of asanas. We then conclude with a deep relaxation to ground what we have learned.

Puoi raggiungermi sui social media o scrivermi a: aikoyogareiki@gmail.com

This Hatha Flow class is open for all levels of practitioner except for absolute beginners.

The class starts with some silent meditation and/or pranayama.

We then move on to a slow warm-up, progress into flowing Sun Salutations, a creative flow of dynamic standing poses and finally move into the slower seated postures.

The sequence of asanas is designed to align your bones, muscles and skin so that Life Force (prana) can flow freely through the many energy channels of the body, especially through the main energy channel running along the spine (Sushumna).

A Hatha Flow class increases the body’s strength and flexibility and also brings clarity and serenity to the mind.

Event Details

Intermediate Hatha Flow is for practised yogis and yoginis who wish to practice with awareness, precision and try out some challenging poses.

It begins with silent meditation and/or some pranayama.

It then moves into limbering and warming up the whole body often including sun salutations.

We then move into standing poses that are held long enough for us to consciously scan the body in its functional alignment.

When the body is well and truly ready there is time to practice a more advanced pose (or perhaps just enjoy the preparation for it).

Then it is time to wind down, cool and calm the system with various forms of seated poses.

Often the class closes with an inversion and a long savasana to integrate and absorb the benefits of the practice.

Claire DallozI have been a yoga practitioner and teacher for the last 25 + years. Inspiring others with this wonderful practice has been a great source of joy during all these years. The wonderful thing about the student-teacher relationship is that both sides learn from each other. Thanks to my students I have been able to continue to deepen my understanding of the practice as well as help others on their path. My classes are powerful, slow and deep but I value the fact that we all live in different bodies and therefore give alternative poses or opportunities to rest and reflect during my classes. Currently, I am teaching in my studio in the hills above the lake of Zürich. My students range in age from 20 - 80+. I offer courses from beginners to advanced students on a weekly basis. Wisdom is to know that knowledge will forever unfold if we allow it to, meaning that we are all students forever. Thus, while we have fundamental concepts and directions in place, our journey is the never-ending goal. And just by being yourself, you will be my teacher as well.

Diana WoodheadI discovered yoga again about 6 years ago when I went to a yoga retreat in Italy with a friend. On my return I found an amazing local yoga teacher who encouraged me to study further, so I completed a module in yoga looking more at the philosophy and establishing a regular home practice. When I retired from a long career as a Nurse, Midwife, Heath Visitor, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and aesthetic business owner, I decided to dig deeper into yoga, so completed yoga teacher training , vinyasa /hatha and yin at basic and advanced levels at Yoga Hero in Leeds. I have also studied meditation with a zen master and recently with Swami Saradananda. Since qualifying I have also studied subtle yoga and qigong. I specialise in slow mindful yoga with a twist -( I don’t want it to be boring ). I have a passion for western health as well as eastern philosophies. My style of Yoga takes the best from east and west resulting in a balanced body and mind. www.di-ananda.com

Puoi raggiungermi sui social media o scrivermi a: aikoyogareiki@gmail.com

This Hatha Flow class is open for all levels of practitioner except for absolute beginners.

The class starts with some silent meditation and/or pranayama.

We then move on to a slow warm up, progress into flowing Sun Salutations, a creative flow of dynamic standing poses and finally move into the slower seated postures.

The sequence of asanas are designed to align your bones, muscles and skin so that Life Force (prana) can flow freely through the many energy channels of the body, especially through the main energy channel running along the spine (Sushumna).

A Hatha Flow class increases the body’s strength and flexibility and also brings clarity and serenity to the mind.

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of Yoga with postures held for comparatively long periods of time 2 – 5 minutes per pose.

Because of this, the asanas have an effect on the connective tissues – the tendons, fascia and ligaments – and therefore increase the circulation of Qi (subtle energy that runs through the meridian pathway of the body) and blood in the joints and improve flexibility and nourish the organs.

This is a wonderful complement to the more Yang, dynamic types of class such as Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Hatha Flow and a great way to end your week:))

Yin Yoga is a much more slow-paced, meditative style of yoga with postures held for longer periods of time for 3 to 5 minutes. This helps improve flexibility by releasing the body’s connective tissues including the tendons, fascia, and ligaments. It is particularly useful to release the joints in the hips, pelvis and lower spine. It is also incredibly relaxing.

Yin can be challenging because we are holding the postures for long periods.

Yin helps to unblock energy channels and offers a deep release and sense of letting go. This brings about a sense of peace and harmony.

This is the ultimate in relaxation allowing your body to release and ease itself into the weekend.

Suitable for all levels including beginners.
