My teaching is rooted in spirituality and finding ways to connect to our inner divinity and feel open and creative. I have a background in dance and theatre and my passion for movement inspires me to create dynamic sequences that have an emphasis on continuous movement.
Classes start with setting the intention, connecting to our breath and bringing wondering minds into the now. During the class I make sure the the breath is aligned with the movement and that students are fully focused on connecting the mind to the body. I emphasise specific sensations students should be experiencing in the muscles in each pose in order to insure the maximum benefit. I also focus on correct alignment whilst insuring that the flow is not broken.
I always stay after the class to answer questions.
During my artistic journey, I have regularly practised yoga and meditation and have noticed extremely positive effects in my creative practice and general well-being because of it. This inspired me to go to India and study yoga. There I have acquired an in-depth knowledge about postures, breathing techniques, anatomy, philosophy and ayurveda.
I am extremely excited to share my classes with you.
