Tuning into the Tattwas: Yoga through the elements
WHAT?
A weekly 75 minute yoga class to journey through and connect deeply with the elements that make up the cosmos and in- turn ourselves.
Practices include: Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathwork), Dharana & Dhyana (Concentration & meditation) Mudras (energetic seals made by the body e.g hands) Mantra (sacred sounds and syllables)

WHY?ย
The foundation of the entire cosmos is beautifully laid out by these 5 Tattwas or elements. The essence of all matter, all living and non living entities of our world are created by these subtle energies, including us
The Macro- Cosm continuously informs our Micro-Cosm and vice versa; everything we eat, touch and the biodiversity of our eco-systems are held together by these elements.
To connect with and balance these energies is part of the process of bringing the body into a state of harmony and equilibrium. A healthy balance of the elements is important for the existence and healthy functioning of the body.
