Refund Policy

We are Foogin Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 8124880 and with our registered office at 21 Bayliss Heights, 8 Peartree Way, London SE10 0GX.  We operate this website www.foogin.com

We operate a platform which allows third party traders (‘Organisers’) to advertise wellness services, classes, events and other activities listed on our website from time to time (‘Events’ or ‘Events’) to consumers (‘Attendees’). Attendees may enquire about and book these Events via our website.

We are authorised to accept bookings made by Attendees on the Organisers’ behalf and, when we accept a booking made by an Attendee, a contract will be formed directly between the Organiser and the Attendee. For clarity, all Events are provided by the relevant Organiser and we are not responsible for organising or delivering the Events themselves. Please read our terms and conditions for more details of the contract between you and us.

Even though Organisers and Attendees are contracting directly with each other, we specify our minimum required cancellation and refund policy. Organisers can specify more generous cancellation rights in their own terms and conditions, but we ask them not to specify more restrictive cancellation rights. Our minimum required cancellation and refund policy is set out below.

If an Organiser cancels a booking

If an Organiser cancels a booking for any reason, they must refund the Attendees in full, including the Service Fee they have paid to us.

If an Attendee cancels a booking

If an Attendee wishes to cancel a booking, the cancellation and refund rights depend on whether the Attendee is still within the legal ‘cooling-off’ period:

Exercising your right to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (‘cooling-off’ period)

For most products (including goods, services and digital content) bought online, consumers have a legal right to change their mind within 14 days (starting after the date on which we confirm your booking) and receive a refund. If the Event takes place over several days and has already started, but you are still within the cooling-off period, you can still exercise your right to change your mind. In such case, the Organiser can deduct from any refund an amount equivalent to the portion of the Event which has already taken place (ending with the time when you told the Organiser you had changed your mind). The amount will be in proportion to what has been supplied, in comparison with the full duration of the Event.

In practice, if you are cancelling a single-day Event and you are still within the cooling-off period, you are entitled to a full refund as long as you cancel more than one day before the Event is scheduled to start. If you cancel on the day before or the day on which the Event is scheduled to start, you will be entitled to 80% of the price you paid.

If you are cancelling an Event taking place over several days and you are still within the cooling-off period, you are entitled to a full refund as long as you cancel more than one day before the time the first part of the Event is scheduled to start. If you cancel after that (on the day before or on the day on which the Event is scheduled to start), the Organiser may deduct from any refund an amount for the supply of the Event for the period for which it was supplied (including preparations made for the Event), ending with the time when you told the Organiser you had changed your mind.

The deduction on the refund is designed to compensate the Organiser for the loss of revenue as they may not be able to fill your ‘seat’ on the Event or Class due to the short notice of your cancellation, particularly for multi-day Events that have already started. We want to ensure cancellations and refunds are fair both to Organisers and Attendees and we believe this is the best way to achieve a fair balance.

If you wish to cancel outside the ‘cooling-off’ period

If you are outside the cooling-off period but wish to cancel, we recommend that all Organisers should grant refunds calculated based on the table below:

Single-day event (event duration is less than 24 hours)
Cancellation request received more than one day before the Event is scheduled to start80% refund
Cancellation request received one day before or on the day on which the Event is scheduled to start40% refund
Cancellation request received after the Event is scheduled to startNo refund

Multi-day event (event duration is 24 hours or longer)
Cancellation request received more than 2 weeks before the event is scheduled to start80% refund
Cancellation request received 1-2 weeks before the event is scheduled to start40% refund
Cancellation request received less than 1 week before the event is scheduled to startNo refund

Please note we are not responsible for organising or delivering the Events themselves and we cannot issue refunds on the Organisers’ behalf. We do ask that Organisers honour the minimum required refund policy and we encourage Organisers to give refunds as set out above, by the method you used for payment.

For more information about your rights and obligations, please read our terms and conditions.
